Commonly prescribed Drugs/Medications for Adults

Here's a short list of the most commonly prescribed drugs / medications to treat common medical problems or diseases. I will be continually updating this drug list from time to time. I hope this will become useful as a quick guide to cure common signs and symptoms, but this should never be used without seeing the doctor for proper diagnosis of your illness.

The list is in table form with Generic Name, Mode of Action, Dosage and Preparation. Generic Name is where you'll see the generic names of the specific drugs for each type of illness. Mode of Action states in brief the specific mechanism of action for each drug on specific sites or parts of the body. The Dosage on the other hand states the common dosage in Adults. For children and pregnant women, please consult your physician with regards to safety and proper dosing. Lastly, the Preparation states the common packaging or preparation of the drug as you buy them from the pharmacy.
